Cristina Scalabrini, born in Milan in 1968, works as a translator and editorial consultant. Her interest for the written word, on which her profession is based, is complemented by a passion for images. Since 1999 she
explores the possibilities of photography, either by herself or with the Macelleria dei perdenti (The Slaughterhouse of Losers) of which she is a co-founder.
